We are proud of what’s inside every bottle of Prince Igor Vodka. But, it’s not just what’s on the inside that counts.
Prince Igor is committed to protecting our environment, which is why it is packaged in an environmentally friendly PET bottle.
Polyethylene terephthalate, also known as PET, is 100% recyclable. The bottles are lightweight, create less packaging waste, and reduce pollutant emissions during transportation, consume less fuel during transportation & save energy.
PET bottles get recycled into many different products, most often polyester fibres which are used to make polar fleece fabric, carpets, sleeping bag stuffing, and recycled PET bottles. Many of these items can be made from 100% recycled material. For example, it takes 12 empty Prince Igor bottles to make the insulation for one ski jacket.
Compared to glass, the Prince Igor PET bottle:
- Requires 30% less energy to manufacture
- Produces 30% less greenhouse gas emissions
- Is lightweight and requires less energy to transport
- Is 100% recyclable
PET bottles can only be recycled if they are separated from other waste. So please, return your empties, and help us leave a greener space for the next generation. |
